Compulsory Subjects
English, M.I.L., (Oriya/Alt. English / Hindi / Sanskrit – any one) and Environmental Education (1st Year Only)
Elective Subjects are 1st Physics, 2nd Chemistry, 3rd Mathematics & 4th Elective Subjects : Biology, Information Technology (IT), Electronics (EL), Biotechnology & Statistics (The Student is required to choose any one of the 4th Elective Subjects)
Subject Combinations : PCM-B, PCM-IT, PCM-EL, PCB-IT
Eligibility for Admission
Students who have passed the 10th Board Examination conducted by the BSE Odisha / CBSE / ICSE are eligible for admission. Admission will be strictly based on merit under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) as per Resolution No.: 1-A-HE-4A-2010-3702/HE dated 20.02.2010 of Government of Odisha, Higher Education Department. Candidates selected under the e-admission procedure (SAMS) are intimated individually by post/e-mail in the prescribed intimation letter formulated by the Govt. of Odisha, regarding the date of admission and fees to be paid. The names of the selected candidates are also displayed in the notice board. In case of any complaint, the decision of the Principal of the destination school is final and binding.
How to Apply
The admission into the Higher Secondary School shall be done through the ONLINE e-admission procedure under SAMS for the academic session. Students shall download the Common Application Form from the Govt. of Odisha website (www.dheorissa.in) only after the publication of results from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
Submission of Common Application form (CAF)
After the ‘Application Forms’ is collected from the Govt. website for admission into the +2 streams, the student must read the CAF carefully and fill it in CAPITAL LETTERS and submit the form online only. Printed copy of the form and certificates will be submitted in the destination college / Resource Centre / Nodal College within the prescribed period by the Govt. of Odisha.

Summer Course
The Summer Course is specially and systematically designed by Adyant Higher Secondary School, aimed at the students of class X to have access and understand the demands of the science stream in the senior secondary classes. The course content and the systematic teaching methodology at Adyant ensures that students progress from the basics to the advanced levels, fulfilling both the requirements of the board and the competitive examinations. Rules & Regulations
- A student after taking admission in the school will be strictly bound by the rules and regulations of the school.
- Each student will be issued an identity card. The entry and attendance into the school and classes respectively will be only allowed with the identity card. If the ID card is lost or misplaced, a duplicate I-card must be requested from the school against payment of Rs. 200/-.
- If any student is found misusing the I-card, he / she will be penalized.
- It is compulsory and mandatory to provide valid Mobile No. of the parent. Results of all tests/ information’s/decisions and all notifications of the school will be sent to the parent only through messages to the phone number given to the school. The school shall not be responsible for non-receipt of any information by the parents due to errors/ non-supply of valid mobile number, as submitted by the parent at time of admission.
- All students who are enrolled with the school will have to work hard regularly. In case, the teachers feel that the student is not working hard, creating indiscipline in the school or hostel, is irregular in attendance, is not responding properly, he / she may be warned and in case of reparation despite of such warning he/she will be suspended or expelled taking into account the extent and gravity of the misconduct/indiscipline, etc. and if necessary, the decision of the school management in this regard will be final and binding to the student. No fee or part of the fee will be refunded in such cases.
- A student must have an attendance of 90% and above. The student is responsible for consequences for such short- of attendance as the Govt. Rule. Un-authorized absence in class by the students (except on medical reason supported with medical documents) for more than 3 days shall be dealt with sternly by the Principal.
- If any student at the time of admission, exercises his / her higher option through the e-admission processes will be refunded the deposited amount after deducting amount as instructed by the Govt. of Odisha.
- If any student after the completion of his/her admission, exercises the higher option, the amount of refund, will be decided by the management. In case the lower option is exercised, the amount to be refunded will be decided by the management.
- The parents can meet the principal for any enquiry about the progress of their wards, or any other problem concerning their ward with prior appointment only.
- Any change of address has to be notified in writing to the school office within 7-10 days.
- A student who is late by 5 minutes for classes / tests will not be allowed to enter the classroom for that period subject to proper and reasonable explanation.
- If the school bag provided to the student bag is lost / misplaced, a new bag can be obtained from the school against a payment of Rs.400/- and in case of lost of study materials, the study material may be photo copied on payment only.
- If any type of mishap occurs in the premises of the school because of situation beyond control of school or accidentally, or for any other natural calamity like earthquake, floods, fire, electric short circuit, etc, the school shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever.
- Every student must pay/deposit the school fees in and within the schedule time regularly. A fine @ Rs. 50 per day will be Charged for non-payment of installments in time.
- The student is not allowed to possess any electronic gadgets, including mobile phones I- pod, smart watches etc during his /her stay in the school. The same conditions are applicable for all boarders.

- The school reserves its rights to make any alternation in its programme / timing and days of classes without any prior notice to anybody. The decision of the Principal will be final & binding on the student & parents.
- In case of any dispute or differences between you and the school regarding the interpretation of these terms & conditions, non - payment of any claim or any dispute arising out of or in pursuant of these terms and conditions, the same shall be referred to Sole Arbitrator who shall be appointed by the Chairman of M/s Adyant Educational & Charitable Trust. The proceedings shall be conducted at Bhubaneswar under the Provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act and the Courts at Bhubaneswar only shall have to jurisdiction over the mater and / or for enforcement as the case may be. If an Arbitrator to whom the matter is referred refuses to act for any reason, does not enter the reference or after entering into the reference proceedings are abandoned or kept in abeyance or not proceeded with, it shall be lawful for the Chairman of M/s Adyant Educational & Charitable Trust to appoint another person to act as Arbitrator in the matter aforesaid. Such person shall be entitled to proceed with reference from the stage at which was left by his predecessor, if both the parties consent to this effect, failing which the Arbitrator will be entitled to proceed denovo.
- The student shall compensate the school for any loss/damage to the property of the school caused directly or indirectly due to his act of indiscipline, misconduct, nuisance, negligence, etc.
- The Chairman reserves the right to relax, waive, modify, alter any provisions/rules of this Rules and Regulation, if feels expedient in the interest of the Institution & Students.
- Every student has to submit the an undertaking with self declaration which reads as : “I have read the terms and conditions and all the rules and regulation school as mentioned in the prospectus & promise to abide by the same and liable for penalty, if any for any breach there-of”.
